Want to try fly fishing but don't know where to start? Overwhelmed by the information? Milwaukee Lake & Stream Fly Fishers has a new program that gives you a grounding in the basics of equipment, casting, and where and how to fish. It ends with an actual fishing session on a nearby stream.

The program runs a couple times a year, by request of our members. It is open to club members and there is a very nominal charge for materials. Ask about it at a club meeting, or send email to info@mlsff.org.

The Club has also produced a comprehensive book on fly fishing, with special attention to fishing in the Milwaukee area. Members can purchase a copy for $15 at Club meetings; $20 for nonmembers.
